Contesting Information
RIGHT TO APPEAL - You may contest the violation(s), or that you are the person responsible for the
violation(s), by filing a request for an administrative hearing on a City-approved form with the
Public Safety Department (Bellflower Substation, 16615 Bellflower Blvd, Bellflower, CA 90706) within
10 calendar days from the issuance date of a citation. An advance deposit that is equal to the total
amount of fine for this citation, or a completed application form for an advance deposit hardship waiver,
must accompany any request for an administrative hearing.
Failure to submit a request for hearing and the deposit or hardship waiver within 10 calendar days will
mean you have waived the right to a hearing and the citation will be deemed final. Should a cited person
prevail at an appeal hearing, the advance deposit will be refunded without interest.
